WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced, polished professional, not an entry-level fill-in. The ideal candidate has spent time in a guest-facing role (hospitality, front desk, retail, or service) and knows how to carry themselves with warmth and composure. You are dependable, coachable, and you genuinely enjoy making people feel cared for. You take ownership of your work without being asked, and you are eager to keep learning: about our services, our Aveda products, and the craft of remarkable hospitality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Create a warm, intentional welcome for every guest, setting a positive tone from the moment they walk in.
• Manage the guest experience at the front desk: scheduling appointments, handling bookings, and answering questions in person and over the phone with clarity and confidence.
• Speak knowledgeably about our services, Aveda products, and membership and package options, helping guests choose what is right for them.
• Offer thoughtful, personalized Aveda retail recommendations that extend the guest's results at home.
• Guide guests through membership and package sign-ups, explaining the benefits with genuine enthusiasm.
• Keep the salon pristine and welcoming: maintaining the front area, restocking retail shelves, laundering towels, and handling the small details that make luxury feel effortless.
• Support the opening and closing of the salon, so every day begins and ends to the same standard.
• Serve beverages and attend to each guest's comfort throughout their visit.
• Partner closely with stylists and teammates so the day runs smoothly for everyone.
• Assist with day-to-day operations: light bookkeeping, inventory, and tracking retail sales.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Prior experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role where professionalism and reliability mattered. (Salon experience is a plus, not a requirement. The right attitude and work ethic matter most.)
• A professional, polished presence paired with genuine, outgoing warmth.
• Clear, articulate communication, both in person and over the phone.
• A self-starter's initiative: you see what needs doing, and you do it.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, even when the salon is busy.

• Enthusiasm for learning and growing: our products, our systems, and our standards.
• Availability that includes Fridays and Saturdays, with a mix of morning and evening (open and close) shifts. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Your Role

As a Rejuve stylist, you will:

• Provide professional haircuts, color, chemical treatments, styling services, and other services permitted by your license
• Conduct detailed consultations and create customized service plans
• Educate guests on professional products, home care, hair health, and styling
• Recommend and pre-book future appointments based on each guest’s needs
• Complete services efficiently and within scheduled appointment times
• Document guest information, service history, and color formulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly sanitized workspace
• Participate in team meetings, coaching, and continued education
• Communicate professionally with guests, team members, guest care, and leadership
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance
• Help support a respectful, collaborative, and gossip-free salon culture

Qualifications

• Current Indiana cosmetology or beauty culture license
• Strong communication and guest-service skills
• Ability to perform haircuts, color, and chemical services
